About Farah

Farah Momen (she/her) is exploring the ways in which food experiences can be a healing, reflective, connective tool for individuals from all walks of life. She is dedicated to catalyzing the narrative power of food. From quick daily meals and weekend dinner parties, to school lunches and family holidays, no meal is too small or large to take pause and create an experience loaded with love, care and thought.

Farah’s professional background spans entrepreneurship program leadership, nonprofit advocacy and communications. She recently completed her masters degree at The Fletcher School at Tufts University where she specialized in Business for Social Impact and Human Security. There, she co-founded an NGO, The Now Exchange, focused on fostering health access and choice in the Bangladeshi garment sector (on hiatus due to COVID-19). She holds her BA in Geography from McGill University.

Farah is a native of New York State, currently residing near Boston MA with her husband Matthew and kitten Ellie Roosevelt. She is a Season 1 cast member of Top Chef Amateurs, premiering on July 1, 2021 on Bravo TV.
